Community Tax, LLC is a nationally respected firm offering a variety of financial and tax related services, such as tax preparation for personal and small business tax payers, full accounting and bookkeeping services, tax planning and our core strength which is IRS defense services for individuals and businesses currently facing enforcement/collection action. The market demand for these much needed services is exploding and we are aggressively growing to meet the needs of a greatly under served market.

Job Summary:
This position requires highly motivated HR and Talent Acquisition Specialist to help enhance the recruitment activities supporting the growth of the firm while developing additional HR responsibilities to support current staffing needs and assisting in strategies for growth.. You should have the ability to think and work within a team and independently with effective sourcing and recruiting skills, while developing addition HR skills and abilities.

You should have 2- 3 years as a recruiter (corporate or agency) with exposure to general HR Coordinator duties as well. You should be confident and competent in sourcing and recruitment for both non-exempt and exempt requisitions including sourcing and recruiting passive candidates in today's competitive talent market.


Job Responsibilities:

The HR / Talent Acquisition Coordinator will also play an active role in the recruitment and acquisition of talent for both exempt and non-exempt positions to support the company's growing needs. This includes:

  • Working with department managers to assess needs and properly
  • Assisting in posting of positions in various job boards and recruitment sources
  • Contacting. Recruiting, Screening / interviewing candidates
  • Working effectively with company ATS (MyStaffingPro) system to manage candidate and posting workflow, and onboarding
  • Sourcing, Mining & Generating candidates using various Career Builder tools, social networks, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Delivering offers, rejection letters, and recruitment driven communication with candidates
  • Assisting in building a pipeline of talent available for anticipated needs

Job Requirements


  • 3+ Recruiting / Talent Acquisition responsibilities (Corporate or Agency)
  • Ability to Source and Mine candidates through boolean search, direct recruiting and other proactive means to create talent pipeline
  • Functional knowledge of Human Resources administration and coordination through hands on experience or any similar combination of education and experience
  • Experience working with an ATS system - My Staffing Pro experience a plus.
  • Experience with and knowledge of general payroll practices and HR policies, Federal and State Law, compliance, etc.
  • Knowledge of and experience working with HRIS systems desired
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking skills a plus

Education and Other Requirements:

  • 4 year College Degree Preferred
  • Successful "think-out-of-the-box" attitude
  • Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment with adaptability to change
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook (Must be tech savvy)
